Group Sales Support Specialist (GSSS) – SummaCare
Job Summary Provides internal administrative support to an assigned group sales team involved in the sales of new broker-driven and/or direct-groups. Coordinates entire new group quoting and submission process.. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 1. Responds and inputs data for the entire medical / Rx group quoting process, including receipt of census, census grids, work-up to underwriting, maintaining of quote log, status inquiries, and distribution of rates to brokers and/or representatives. 2. Receives and checks for accuracy on submitted enrollment applications. Makes calls to agencies to complete missing information on all preliminary quotes and new cases submitted by brokers and/or direct prospects. 3. Processes all ancillary sales paperwork, and works closely with partner vendors (COBRA, life insurance, vision, dental, HRA/HSA/FSA). 4. Prepares and mails “decline to quote” and “Welcome” letters/kits to brokers and/or direct groups. 5. Provides administrative sales support to the assigned group sales team including, but not limited to, answering telephones, qualifying leads, maintaining databases, initiating mailers, and tracking/reporting of sales trends. 6. Prepares, mails, and manages inventory levels of group sales collateral materials including sales and enrollment kits. Fills broker supplies requests via website, fax, mail, or phone. 7. Provides variety of administrative support for group sales/service management as needed. 8. Serves as internal coordinator and contact for brokers, prospective clients, and group sales team 9. Cross-trains and covers for the Group Service Support Specialist during PTO, events, and other circumstances as business needs dictate. 10. Performs all job functions with integrity. Provides timely internal and external customer service in cooperative, professional, and respectful manner.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma/GED required.
2+ years performing same or similar responsibilities. Relevant experience includes: customer service experience in any industry, or administrative support duties in an office environment.
